A friend of mine send me photos of a cover from Nov. 28, 1941 with a Honolulu postmark, but the cover has a Palmyra Island return address on the reverse. I have attached photos of the front and back of the cover. Could this really be from Palmyra Island?

My friend also has a small piece of a front cover that is also addressed to the same person who supposedly mailed the Palmyra Island cover. The handwriting looks similar, but maybe not identical to the Palmyra cover. This other piece shows that this second letter was addressed to James Hudson, and it has a (different) Honolulu postmark. Unfortunately the destination of this second cover piece is not included on the piece.

Could this cover really be from Palmyra Island?
