I was browsing through Tokelau on eBay and I came across the attached Crabs S/S of 1999. Was the name Tokelau accidentally omitted from the actual stamp on the sheet? Torn from the sheet as a single stamp, it could be from any island that uses $ currency!

Hi Brian,

This is the design as issued, the stamp inside the minisheet does not exist in the set of 4 single stamps. $3 is the value of the ms.
The crab shown is the same as that on the $1 stamp, but that stamp had Tokelau on the left side vertical.

Ebay is a great way to buy at a lot less than retail, but you have to check for incorrect descriptions; also when a lot of bidders you can easily pay even over retail and then have to pay at least $2 postage.

Thanks for placing this on the forum

Tony, It would be nice to get a single of the stamp torn from the S/S used on cover!

In 2003 Tuvalu issued a locally designed set for the United Nations Rights of Children Year, and they FORGOT to produce the country name on the stamps! They were issued as usual, never reprinted (see attached).
