FUTURE MEETINGS:

 SOUTHERN AREA MEETING, 2008

A meeting on 11th October 2008, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm, will be held at the South of England Centre, Ardingly, Sussex, in conjunction with the Federation of Sussex Philatelic Societies' Autumn exhibition and fair. The programme will include a display of Norfok Island by David Murray Brown; further details will be announced when the programme is finalised.

 NORTHERN AREA MEETING, 2008

A meeting will be held in Manchester on 22nd November 2008, when the principal display will be of British Solomon Islands by Robin Sherman. Members will be circulated with full details a little nearer to the date of the meeting.

REPORTS OF RECENT MEETINGS:

 SOUTH WEST AREA MEETING, 2008

Eleven members attended our annual meeting at Dawlish Warren on 17th May. The feature display was of the recent Fiji provisional issues by Bryan Jones, followed by members' displays. A full report will be published in the July 2008 edition of Pacifica.

 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, 2008

Our 45th AGM was held at the Horticultural Halls, London SW1, on 23rd February 2008. The full minutes were published in the April 2008 issue of Pacifica.

 JOINT MEETING WITH THE NEW ZEALAND SOCIETY, 2008

This was held at the Union Jack Club, London SE1 on Saturday 26th January 2008, the theme being NZ-related Pacific area material. A report was published in the April 2008 edition of Pacifica.

 SOUTHERN/EASTERN AREA MEETING, 2007

A very successful meeting, with Fiji as the theme, was held in Stevenage on 20th October. For a report of this meeting, please see the January 2008 edition of Pacifica.

 SYDNEY MEETING, 2007

Thirteen members and four visitors attended our meeting at Royal Randwick Racecourse on 17th June, during Sydney Stamp Expo 2007. For a full report, please see the October 2007 edition of Pacifica.
