I have come across two, supposedly Funafuti provisional issues that are on the 1d and 2d Pandanus issues. Vernon does not mention any provisional markings on these two stamps. Any thoughts about whether these two stamps are real or fake? From what I have gathered, the stamps came from the collection of the late Dave Stirling. Before that, the collection was owned by Harry Rook. Photos are attached. Thank you for sharing any thoughts that you may have regarding these two stamps.
